Virtual (video based) or Tele-therapy services are available and covered by most insurances. This allows for services to be received from the ease and comfort of your home using a secure platform, similar to what you would experience with Skype, Zoom, Facetime or other familiar applications.
In addition, Ohio allows the use of telephone only (non-video) services to be used for tele-therapy. This allows more individuals who do not have access to the internet or video phones to receive needed behavioral health services.
If you find you are unable to make it to the office for an appointment it can often be changed to a tele-therapy appointment which prevents you from missing treatment session when things arise
